Woodley rose to fame for starring as Amy Juergens in *The Secret Life of the American Teenager*. She went on to earn a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the 2011 film *The Descendants* and an Emmy nomination for the TV series *Big Little Lies*.

Her other best-known credits include the films *The Fault in Our Stars*, the *Divergent* series, *The Spectacular Now*, and *Snowden*.

The Hayes Theater, established in 1912 and located in the heart of New York City, is a notable venue for Broadway productions. Known formerly as the Little Theatre, the Helen Hayes Theatre was renamed in 1983 in honor of the acclaimed actress. Since its renovation in 2017, the Hayes has become one of the most technologically advanced, intimate Broadway houses. Its seating capacity of 597 hasn't affected the quality and charm of performances held there. Known for presenting some of the most innovative works of contemporary playwrights, it continues to attract theatre buffs from around the world. 

 ## How to Get There 

The Hayes Theater is situated at 240 West 44th Street, between 7th and 8th avenue. For those taking the subway, the Times Square-42nd Street station served by N, Q, R, S, W, 1, 2, 3, and 7 trains is the closest stop. If you prefer a taxi or a ride-sharing service, simply set your destination to the theater's address. There are also numerous parking facilities within a few blocks where you can leave your car if you're driving.

Zachary John Quinto was born on&nbsp;June 2, 1977 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is perhaps best known for his role as Spock in the current Star Trek&nbsp;movie franchise, as well as his TV roles as Sylar on&nbsp;Heroes&nbsp;and as&nbsp;Dr. Oliver Thredson on American Horror Story.

Mr. Quinto was raised in Green Tree, Pennsylvania, where he&nbsp;attended Saints Simon and Jude Catholic School. He graduated from the Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh in 1995 and Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama in 1999.

Although primarily known for his work on screen, Quinto has enjoyed a successful stage career that started in California with roles in Samuel Beckett's&nbsp;Endgame&nbsp;at the Los Angeles Odyssey Theatres in 2003. He went on to perform in Shakespeare's&nbsp;Much Ado About Nothing&nbsp;at the Los Angeles Shakespeare Festival and in&nbsp;Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow&nbsp;at the Old Glove Theatre. He later&nbsp;gained great acclaim for his Off-Broadway debut as&nbsp;Louis Ironson in the 2010 revival of Tony Kushner's&nbsp;Angels in America, receiving a&nbsp;Theatre World Award for his efforts in 2011.

In 2013, he took on the role of&nbsp;Tom Wingfield in the&nbsp;American Repertory Theater's revival of Tennessee Williams'&nbsp;The Glass Menagerie,&nbsp;which led to a Broadway transfer and his Broadway debut later that same year. In February 2016, he returned off Broadway to star in MCC Theater's production of Smokefall&nbsp;at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.&nbsp;Quinto returned&nbsp;to the Broadway stage to take on the role of Harold in the 50th anniversary production of&nbsp;The Boys in the Band&nbsp;from April 30 through&nbsp;August 11, 2018.

On screen, Quinto had appeared in minor roles in various TV series, including The Others,&nbsp;CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,&nbsp;Six Feet Under,&nbsp;and Charmed&nbsp;until his big break came upon securing the recurring role of&nbsp;Adam Kaufman in Fox's hit series 24&nbsp;in 2003. He went on to appear&nbsp;in 23 episodes. His next big role would come in 2006 when he took on the role of Sylar in NBC's Heroes,&nbsp;appearing in 61 episodes through 2010. His career was launched into superstardom after landing the role of Spock in the new Star Trek&nbsp;movie franchise reboot, with the first film being released in 2009 and&nbsp;sequels Star Trek: Into Darkness&nbsp;and Star Trek: Beyond&nbsp;coming out in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He also starred in the roles of&nbsp;Chad Warwick&nbsp;and&nbsp;Dr. Oliver Thredson in the FX series American Horror Story,&nbsp;culminating in his first Emmy Award nomination in 2013. Other notable screen credits include Snowden,&nbsp;Hannibal,&nbsp;The Slap,&nbsp;Girls,&nbsp;I Am Michael,&nbsp;Margin Call,&nbsp;and So Notorious.

The Booth Theatre, named in honor of the legendary 19th-century actor Edwin Booth, is a historical theater venue in New York City, specifically located in the heart of the theatre district on Broadway. It was first opened on October 16, 1913. This venue loves to exhibit plays and has been home to a string of widely acclaimed productions since its establishment. It is known for its intimate setting, having only 766 seats distributed between the orchestra and mezzanine levels. The interior is beautifully ornamented, showcasing Italian Renaissance detailing and a warm, old-world atmosphere. The Booth Theatre is currently owned by the Shubert Organization. Over the years, it has housed multiple award-winning plays such as 'Sunday in the Park with George', 'Next to Normal', and 'The Elephant Man'. 

**How to get there:** The Booth Theater is located at 222 West 45th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues. It is easily accessible by public transit. For subway riders, it is close to the Times Square-42nd Street station, where the 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, W, and S trains stop. It is possible to park your car in a nearby garage but remember that the theatre district can be quite busy, especially during show hours.

Hayes Theater - TodayTix

The Hayes Theater officially opened as The Little Theatre on March 12, 1912. The building was designed by Harry Creighton Ingalls and built by Winthrop Ames, opening with John Galsworthy's play *The Pigeon*.

During the 1920s, the theatre was redesigned by Herbert J. Krapp to increase the capacity from 300 to 590. The New York Times purchased the building in 1931, converting it to a conference hall under the name of New York Times Hall.

In 1979, Martin Markinson and Donald Tick bought the theatre and renamed it in 1983 to the Helen Hayes Theatre to honor the actress. A previous theatre bearing her name was demolished in 1982 to make way for the Marriott Marquis Hotel.

On April 18, 2015, it was officially announced that Second Stage Theater had purchased the property. It was later revealed that the venue would be renamed the Hayes Theater, and it opened in spring 2018. The Hayes Theater is the smallest Broadway theatre, now with 597 seats.

## How to get to the Hayes Theater on Broadway

The Hayes Theater, located on 44th Street between Eighth Avenue and Broadway, is closest to the 42nd Street - Port Authority subway stop on the A, C, and E lines. Additionally, the nearest bus stops are 8th Ave/W 46th St. on the M20 and M104 lines; 7th Ave/W. 44th St. on the M104 line; and 8th Ave/W 43rd St. on the M20, M104, and M34A-SBS lines.
